Ergonomics for Office

  • Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are the #1 workplace injury category across Canada and the globe, regardless of industry. As the prevalence of computer workstations continues to grow, along with hybrid and remote working options, the physical challenges and risks faced by employees in the office workplace have never been more complex.

  • This one-day interactive course is aimed at increasing employee awareness of ergonomics in order to optimize health, wellness, and comfort. Participants will be trained on key ergonomic concepts, how to recognize and correct ergonomic risk factors, and shown how to properly configure a workstation.

  • Attendees will learn how to correctly adjust the equipment components of their workstation (such as task chair, sit/stand desk, keyboard, mouse, screens, etc.) to minimize the risk of developing discomfort.
