Falls are one of the major causes of serious and fatal injuries in all workplaces, including those that are federally regulated. Without proper training, employees exposed to fall hazards face risks of harm and prosecution, their families face heartache and hardship, and their employers face risks of prosecution, fines, jail time, and bankruptcy.

You will gain knowledge of:

• The Canada Labour Code Part 2 (CLC-2) and the Canadian Occupational Health & Safety Regulation (COHSR) legislation and regulatory requirements as they pertain to fall protection, and ladder safety. ​

• The process of Hazard Identification, Evaluation, Control and Verification.​

• The fundamental component of a Fall Protection Plan and the Fall Protection Systems.​

• Personal Protective Equipment requirements and responsibilities.
