This course examines the key elements of the NFPA 70E and the CSA Z462 voluntary standards.  After completing this course, learners will be able to:

• Describe the concept of Arc Flash and the associated occupational risks for workers conducting work next to the electrical equipment.

• Describe the prescribed occupational safety measures such as establishing safe work boundaries and using the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.

• Describe electrical safe working conditions and the control measure that should be established for both live and non-live electrical work.
